Hiking
at Winter Park Resort:
- The groomed trails of Winter Park Resort
also offer great hiking opportunities as well. Hike up to the
top of the mountain and enjoy lunch at the Sunspot before you
head back down. You can also get a head start by taking the chair
lift up and it's all downhill from there. You will find great
views of the Continental Divide, Winter Park and the Fraser Valley
around every corner.
-
- Mountain Biking at Winter Park Resort:
- With over 50 miles of mountain bike trails,
bike rentals and 3 terrain parks, Winter Park Resort is a mountain
bikers paradise. You can take your bike up on the chair lift,
and bomb down the mountain, or find a trail that will hook up
with the other 600 miles of trails in the area.

600 Miles of Multiuse Trails:
- We are conveniently located along the Serenity
Trail which connects the trails of Winter Park Resort with the
600 mile trail system that runs throughout the area. Also within
walking distance is the Fraser River Trail. More information
about this wonderful attraction can be found in the next section
below. We have books and maps that cover most of the trails in
the area, and can help you find an outdoor adventure to suit
your needs and skill level.

Wildlife
Along The Fraser River Trail: Just
a five minute walk from our front door will bring you to the
Fraser River Trail. This paved nature trail follows the Fraser
River into the towns of Winter Park and Fraser. Scattered along
the path you can find picnic benches, informative plaques on
local wildlife, and a telescope for viewing the Continental Divide.
Many guests have seen moose, deer, foxes, and all sorts of other
animals while taking an evening stroll.
-
- Fishing Along The Fraser River Trail: President Eisenhower loved fishing the Fraser river
back in the 50's, and I have personally pulled out many nice
sized brook trout from it's banks on a regular basis.
