Also within walking distance is the Fraser River Trail. More information about this wonderful attraction can be found in the next section below. We have books and maps that cover most of the trails in the area, and can help you find an outdoor adventure to suit your needs and skill level.

Wildlife Along The Fraser River Trail:

Just a five minute walk from our front door will bring you to the Fraser River Trail. This paved nature trail follows the Fraser River into the towns of Winter Park and Fraser. Scattered along the path you can find picnic benches, informative plaques on local wildlife, and a telescope for viewing the Continental Divide. Many guests have seen moose, deer, foxes, and all sorts of other animals while taking an evening stroll.

Fishing Along The Fraser River Trail:

President Eisenhower loved fishing the Fraser river back in the 50’s, and I have personally pulled out many nice sized brook trout from it’s banks on a regular basis.
